It’s almost November 30 and here at Hashtag Towers, we’re even more pumped than usual. Yes, we’re talking excitement level 5: earplugs optional, clapping and whooping inevitable.
#GivingTuesday is a global movement that promotes humanity and generosity. It’s the biggest fundraising day for non-profits, and we think it’s the perfect time to show a little love to our hardworking non-profit clients who make a difference in this crazy world.

PEDP: Pinellas Eviction Diversion Program
Many of our friends and neighbors here in Pinellas County have been harshly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and are feeling the financial pressure as they fall behind on rent or face eviction. That’s why we’re grateful to our clients PEDP for offering free legal help, mediation between tenants and landlords, and help with rent and utilities.
Their goal is to prevent homelessness, and they’re doing an awesome job. We’re behind them every step of the way.

MS Happens
This new foundation based in St Pete provides grassroots assistance and support to patients with MS. They help people suffering from the neurological disease MS to cope with the mounting costs such as medications and physician fees, and they raise awareness.
You love a good back story, don’t you? Well, it all started when lawyer Kelly-Ann Jenkins saw her sister Christine struggle with the financial and emotional strains that MS brings, and decided ‘hey, someone needs to do something about this.’ And so, along with her husband Jim, she did just that.
When it comes to educating people about the illness and spreading hope, MS Happens are smashing it.

ARC: Amyloidosis Research Consortium
We admire this non-profit for dramatically improving and extending the lives of patients with amyloidosis and accelerating cutting-edge research through collaborative, ground-breaking initiatives.

Stageworks
Tampa’s longest-running professional theatre company has been running since 1983, and one of the things we love about this non-profit is that they’re not afraid to show socially relevant plays that open up important dialogue.
And did you hear the news? The Best of the Bay saw Stageworks recently nominated for ‘Best Theatre Company’ and ‘Best Theatre Production’, and Karla Hartley was voted ‘Best Stage Director.’
Frankly, we’re not surprised. We knew them before they were famous, and we were friends with them first, so ha!
Proud to support
One of our super fab clients Jenkins Law has recently supported several great causes such as Girls on the Run Tampa Bay, Rainbros, and Habitat for Humanity – to name but a few.
This year, they’re taking the opportunity this #GivingTuesday to run a fundraiser for Pet Pals Animal Shelter in St. Pete, a charity close to their hearts, and Hashtag Creative is proud to back them since we are also suckers for dogs, cats, and fluffy critters. Money raised will help the shelter continue its important work finding forever homes, and feeding and caring for animals in need.

When it comes to our non-profit clients, it’s all about helping them to get their important message out there so that they can get on with what they do best: improving the lives of those deserving in our community. I guess you could say that they’re the all-stars and we’re the cheerleaders, shaking our Social Media pom poms. Oh, and looking fabulous, naturally.
